For chess improvers between 1000-1500 Elo Chesscom Rapid or FIDE (roughly 1200-1700 Lichess)
I’m very excited to share that Real Chess Training is now also available for players between 1000-1500.
With a membership, you’ll get access to a new test every week. Here is what each test consists of:
You’ll get instant access to a mini-course explaining the correct thought process and your first Real Chess Training Intermediate test.
From then on, every 7 days you’ll get access to a new Real Chess Training intermediate test, directly in your Thinkific account.
The mini-course on thought process will focus on these three key skills:
By joining on the launch weekend, you can get Real Chess Training Intermediate at a 25% discount – applied as long as you stay subscribed.
By choosing the yearly option, you get an additional 4 months free.
Your subscription will auto-renew until you cancel, which you can do anytime using a link you’ll get in your sign-up email. You can also write to my team at hello@nextlevelchess.blog and we will cancel the membership for you.
Yes. Real Chess Training features original positions mostly from my own or my students’ games. They are often tested with people of the same skill level and don’t appear in other books or videos. Even tactical positions aren’t taken from common tactics sources, but carefully selected from recently played games.
The moment you sign up with either a yearly or monthly membership, you will get a confirmation email. With that email, you will be able to create a Thinkific account and access the mini-course and your first week of RCT Intermediate.
While you’re subscribed, a new test and solution video arrives every 7 days. If you buy on a Saturday, you will always get access to the next test on Saturdays. Same goes for every other day of the week.
Pausing is not possible at the moment. If RCT isn’t for you anymore, you can cancel your subscription and come back later.
Once you sign up, you get a receipt for your purchase. There will be a link where you can access your subscription and can cancel anytime.
After cancellation, you will keep access until your next payment date. Then, you will be unenrolled from the corresponding membership and lose access to the mini-course and your previous tests.
Alternatively, you can always contact my team at hello@nextlevelchess.blog and we can help you with the cancellation.
No, refunds are not possible. If you are unsure, I highly recommend making a monthly membership and upgrading to yearly once you are sure this is for you.
You can upgrade anytime by simply purchasing a yearly subscription and cancelling your monthly subscription. Alternatively, reach out to hello@nextlevelchess.blog and we help you with a seamless upgrade.
If you are on a yearly subscription and get too strong for the intermediate RCT, you can reach out to hello@nextlevelchess.blog and we will help you with the transition. You will get a discount proportional to the remaining value of your RCT intermediate subscription.
You can also get both subscriptions, in that case just get your RCT Advanced subscription here.
I highly recommend starting with the RCT intermediate, so this one. It costs less and helps you get used to the process of solving tests with clearer guidelines. Once you get the hang of it, you can always change to the advanced subscription later. See above.
For players between 1500-2000, Real Chess Training Advanced exists. Check it out here.
